Mayonnaise

PromOat oat beta-glucan can be used as a texturizer, providing with thickness, creaminess and a good mouthfeel, without imparting the grittiness typical in oats. It can be incorporated in the product together with other hydrocolloids for unique textural properties. PromOat can be used to stabilize emulsions and to replace fat, providing with a low-fat mayonnaise of indulgent texture. PromOat can also be used to replace the emulsifier in the formulation, giving the opportunity of producing a vegan version.

Cosmetic products

PromOat oat beta-glucan can be added to cosmetic products in order to thicken them and stabilise emulsions. It is a soluble beta-glucan that provides a smooth texture and does not impart the graininess typical of oat products. It can be used in combination with Avenacare - Beta-glucans of smaller molecular weight, for soothing and moisturizing the skin, reducing appearance of redness, in sun protection products, or reducing the visible signs of aging.
